A Spark Alliance Partner

Start here. Is SPARK the right move for your business?

We built SPARK for a specific kind of IT business owner — one who has already proven their service model and is now asking a harder question: how do I scale this without burning my team out? If that's you, read on.

Entry Point → Member
The Self-Starter
You run a small IT practice — solo or with 1–2 technicians. You're technically capable and prefer to implement solutions yourself. You want access to proven systems without paying for hand-holding you don't need yet.
  • You handle 100–300 tickets/month and feel the manual drag
  • You're using a PSA but know it's configured below its potential
  • You've lost billable hours to back-office admin this month
  • You want to understand the framework before committing further
  • Budget discipline matters — you need to see ROI before scaling spend
Best Fit → Partner
The Growing MSP
You've got clients, technicians, and recurring revenue — but your operations haven't kept pace with your growth. You're leaving money on the table and you know it. You want the full system deployed correctly, with expert guidance to get it right the first time.
  • You manage 15–60 clients and billing reconciliation costs you hours
  • Your team fields repetitive alerts that should never touch a human
  • New client onboarding takes weeks when it should take days
  • You've tried building automation in-house and stalled
  • You want a partner, not just a product — someone who's been where you are
Strategic → Ally
The Established Operator
You run a mature MSP with real infrastructure, real staff, and real ambitions. You're not looking for templates — you're looking for a strategic co-development relationship that accelerates your roadmap and opens new revenue channels alongside the Spark Alliance network.
  • You manage 50+ clients and operational complexity is your ceiling
  • You have dedicated operations staff who need advanced tooling
  • You want custom automation built to your exact workflow
  • Co-marketing and referral revenue are part of your growth model
  • You want early access, roadmap influence, and a direct relationship
Not sure which profile fits? That's exactly what the discovery call is for.
We assess your environment, ticket volume, and growth stage before recommending a tier. You won't be upsold to a level that doesn't serve your business — our reputation depends on your success, not your subscription price.
We didn't build a product.
We systematized a decade
of hard-won MSP experience.

Spark Alliance operates Spark My Tech and Wilson Technologies — real MSPs serving real clients in California's Central Valley. Every workflow in this platform was built to solve a problem we personally faced: revenue leakage, ticket chaos, billing disputes, technician burnout. We solved those problems. Then we built infrastructure around the solutions. Now we're offering that infrastructure to qualified IT partners — because the MSP industry wins when operators share knowledge, not hoard it.

SPARK stands for Skilled Professionals Applying Real Knowledge. That's not a tagline — it's the operating principle. When you join, you're not getting theory. You're getting systems that are running in production today.

What you're actually getting access to.

SPARK isn't a SaaS subscription. It's a living operational framework — built on best-in-class platforms, connected by precision automation, and refined through years of real-world MSP service delivery.

HaloPSA Integration Framework
The operational hub — unlocked to its full potential
Most MSPs use 30% of what HaloPSA can do. We've spent years mapping its API, building custom workflows, and documenting every configuration decision. Partners inherit this knowledge directly — no trial and error required.
  • API Runner: universal interface for any integration need
  • Ticket Scout: real-time ticket analysis and deep-dive tooling
  • Custom fields & dynamic intake forms per client type
  • Contract-to-billing automation with full audit trail
n8n Automation Engine
The connective tissue — workflows that run while you sleep
n8n is the automation backbone that connects everything else. Self-hosted for data control, built for MSP workflows specifically. Our library represents hundreds of hours of development that partners access on day one.
  • Backup success auto-close with full audit trail logging
  • Voicemail-to-ticket routing via Microsoft Teams
  • Intelligent noise filtering — alert fatigue eliminated
  • Auto client matching by caller ID and email domain
Executive Reporting System
Visibility delivered — not chased down
Leaders who wait until end-of-day to know where their team stands are always reacting, never leading. Our automated reporting system delivers real-time operational snapshots directly to Microsoft Teams — four times daily.
  • Daily report cards posted at 7 AM, 11 AM, 3 PM, 7 PM
  • Needs Action view: new and updated tickets at a glance
  • Workload view: technician breakdown by assignment
  • Monitoring view: Domotz, Acronis, and alert tickets isolated
Billing Automation Engine
Usage-based billing — zero manual reconciliation
Revenue leakage is the silent killer of MSP profitability. Devices go unbilled. Contracts drift from reality. Manual reconciliation misses changes. Our nightly billing engine eliminates this entirely — every asset tracked, matched, and invoiced automatically.
  • Nightly device discovery and VLAN-based categorization
  • PSA contract sync — users, core assets, other assets
  • Recurring invoice generation, CMS distribution, payment collection
  • Full audit log on every automated change — dispute-proof
Security & Network Stack
Enterprise security practices — standardized, documented, and deployable
Security isn't an add-on at Spark Alliance — it's the foundation. Our network security practice runs alongside IT services, which means every automation we've built has security baked in. Partners gain access to our standardized security frameworks, not just IT workflows.
  • FortiGate standardized deployment and policy frameworks
  • Microsoft 365 hardening: Conditional Access, Entra ID, Exchange Online
  • Domotz network monitoring integration and alerting
  • Acronis backup and endpoint protection oversight workflows
  • Physical + network security monitoring unification (SOC integration)
  • AI-assisted documentation drafting, ticket triage, and workflow generation

Make the financial case internally.

Before you choose a tier, you need to understand the return. Here's a clear-eyed look at what SPARK automation is worth — and how to calculate it for your specific operation.

Billing Revenue Recovery — Separate from Time Savings
The average MSP bills for what they remember. We bill for everything.
Devices added mid-contract, users not matched to agreements, asset categories miscounted — these gaps compound silently every month. Industry data puts average MSP billing leakage at 8–15% of MRR. The SPARK nightly billing engine closes every gap automatically. For a $40K/month MRR operation, that's $3,200–$6,000 in recovered revenue every month — on top of every hour of time savings above.

ROI by Tier — Time Value Alone
Member ($299/mo) — core templates self-implemented >10× ROI
Partner ($799/mo) — full automation deployed >11× ROI
Ally ($1,499/mo) — custom dev + billing recovery + revenue share Compounding
Based on documented operational data from Spark Alliance's own MSP environments. $85/hr reflects fully-loaded technician cost including salary, benefits, and overhead — not just hourly rate. Your actual recovery will vary; we model your specific numbers in the discovery call.

There's no "junior" tier at SPARK. Each membership level is designed to deliver real operational value at your current stage. Upgrade when the time is right — not because the entry tier is artificially limited.

What we need from you.

SPARK is a selective program. We work closely with every partner, which means we qualify both ways. Here's what each tier requires to ensure a successful engagement.

MEMBER Requirements
PSA Platform
HaloPSA in use, or a firm commitment to adopt HaloPSA as your primary PSA within 60 days of joining
Technical Capability
Ability to self-implement workflows with documentation — basic familiarity with API concepts helpful
Commitment
90-day minimum, then month-to-month. No lock-in beyond the initial window.
Discovery Call
A 30-minute intake call to confirm fit and set expectations before access is provisioned
PARTNER Requirements
PSA Platform
HaloPSA active, with admin access for our implementation team during the onboarding period
Client Base
15+ managed clients recommended — smaller operations can qualify if ticket volume warrants the investment
Microsoft 365
Teams deployed or willingness to deploy — required for reporting and voicemail automation
Commitment
$2,500 setup fee waived with 6-month commitment. Implementation is intensive and we need the runway.
Team Participation
At least one internal point of contact who owns the implementation on your side
ALLY Requirements
Operational Maturity
Established MSP with defined processes, dedicated staff, and 30+ managed clients
Full Platform Stack
HaloPSA, Microsoft 365, n8n (or willingness to adopt) — Ally tier requires full platform integration
Strategic Alignment
Leadership must participate in quarterly strategic reviews and co-development sessions
Commitment
12-month initial commitment. $5,000 setup fee discounted to $2,500 with commitment. This is a strategic relationship, not a subscription.
Mutual Qualification
Ally candidates go through a structured evaluation — we select Ally partners carefully
Not on HaloPSA yet?
The SPARK platform is built on HaloPSA as the operational hub. If you're currently on ConnectWise, Autotask, or another PSA, we can advise on migration planning as part of the discovery process. Some partners have found the SPARK ecosystem compelling enough to justify the switch — we'll give you an honest assessment.
Not sure if you qualify?
Bring your honest numbers to the discovery call — client count, ticket volume, current stack. We'll tell you directly which tier makes sense and whether the timing is right. If SPARK isn't the right fit yet, we'll tell you that too. The last thing we want is a partner who isn't getting value.

Five steps from here to operational.

No sales pressure, no mystery. Here's exactly how the process works from your first contact to your first automation running in production.

1
Discovery Call
30-minute conversation — your environment, your goals, no pressure
2
Environment Assessment
We review your PSA config, ticket volume, and current automation maturity
3
Tier Recommendation
We recommend the level that serves your business — not the most expensive option
4
Proposal & Agreement
Clear terms, timeline, and defined success metrics — no surprises
5

Implementation begins — your first automation in production within 30 days
Ready to Move Forward?

Let's talk about
your operation.

The discovery call is 30 minutes. No demos, no decks — just an honest conversation about where your MSP is and whether SPARK is the right tool to get it where you want to go. We'll tell you exactly which tier fits, and why.
